The Eddy Duchin Story (1956) [Eddy Duchin]: Dies (off-screen) of leukemia. The movie presents his death symbolically by showing him playing a piano duet with his son (Rex Thompson), followed by some camera movement which eventually reveals Rex by himself at the piano.
