The Return of the Living Dead (1985) [Freddy]: Poisoned by exposure to the Trioxin gas and turned into a zombie; he doesn't realize he's already dead until some time after the fact. Dangerously Close (Campus '86; Choice Kill) (1986) [Brian Rigletti]: Killed (off-screen) by Anthony De Longis after Thom decides to report the vigilantes' activities.
Down Twisted (The Treasure of San Lucas) (1987) [Damalas]: Shot in the head (off-camera) by Charles Rocket while Thom is trying to garrote Charles; the scene cuts to white just before we hear the shot.
Return of the Living Dead Part II (1988) [Joey]: Poisoned by exposure to the Trioxin gas and turned into a zombie; he doesn't realize he's already dead until some time after the fact.
