R. Lee Ermey in 'Full Metal Jacket'
R. Lee Ermey (1944 - )
Full Metal Jacket (1987) [Gunnery Sgt. Hartman]: Shot in the chest by Vincent D'Onofrio in the bathroom, while Matthew Modine looks in in shock.

Mississippi Burning (1988) [Mayor Tilman]: Commits suicide by hanging himself in his basement. (Thanks to Robert)

Kid (Back for Revenge) (1991) [Luke]: Killed by the explosion/backfire when he tries to shoot C. Thomas Howell with a shotgun whose barrel had been plugged up. (Thanks to Robert)

Body Snatchers (1993) [General Platt]: Crumbles to dust (off-screen) when one of the alien pods assumes his form. We don't actually see what happens to him, but it's eventually established that we're seeing an alien duplicate (though it's unclear precisely when the substitution occurred).

The Fighter (Savate) (1994) [Benedict]: Killed in a fight with Olivier Gruner. (Thanks to Michael)

On Deadly Ground (1994) [Stone]: Shot to death in a shoot-out with Steven Seagal. (Thanks to Michael)

Best of the Best 3: No Turning Back (1995) [Preacher Brian]: Stabbed to death by Mark Rolsten in the Neo-Nazis' headquarters when Mark decides to take over the group. (Thanks to Robert)

The Frighteners (1996) [Sgt. Hiles]: Plays a ghost, though the circumstances of his death are never revealed. (Despite the character's different name, this is a thinly-disguised parody of his character from Full Metal Jacket.)

Action: Dead Man Floating (1999) [Titus Scroad]: Accidentally drowned in his swimming pool while drunk. His body is shown afterwards when Fab Filippo discovers him. (Thanks to Alex)

Escape from Alaska (Avalanche) (1999) [Gary]: Killed in an avalanche. (Thanks to Gary)

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) [Sheriff Hoyt]: Run over repeatedly by Jessica Biel after she hotwires his patrol car. (Thanks to Robert)

Willard (2003) [Mr. Martin]: Bitten to death by a large group of rats (controlled by Crispin Glover) in his office; we see R. Lee disappearing from sight as the rats swarm over him.
