John Gavin in 'Pussycat, Pussycat, I Love You'
John Gavin (1928 - )
Mr. Constance Towers
Former US Ambassador to Mexico
Pussycat, Pussycat, I Love You (1970) [Grant Granite]: Shot in the chest by Anna Calder-Marshall in a film-within-the-film gangster-movie parody; Ian McShane's narration states that Anna used real bullets and inherited the studio. (Played for comic effect, obviously.)

Psycho II (1983) [Sam Loomis]: John does not actually appear in this movie, but it's revealed that his character from the original 1960 Psycho died (off-screen) during the 22-year period between the films. (Thanks to Neil)
