| The Killing (1956) [Tiny]: Shot in the head (off-camera) in the crossfire of a shoot-out between Elisha Cook Jr. and Vince Edwards in the gang's hideout; his body is shown in the aftermath of the shoot-out. Paths of Glory (1957) [Pvt. Pierre Arnaud]: Executed by a firing squad, along with Timothy Carey and Ralph Meeker. The Bonnie Parker Story (1958) [Chuck Darrow]: Presumably shot to death by police. (I haven't seen this version, but I do recall Gene Hackman's death in the equivalent role in 1967's Bonnie and Clyde.) Tormented (1960) [The Blackmailer]: Hit on the head by Richard Carlson in the lighthouse, while Susan Gordon secretly watches from the shadows. The Shining (1980) [Lloyd, the Overlook Bartender]: Plays one of the ghosts occupying the hotel, though I don't believe the circumstances of his death were revealed. Blade Runner (1982) [Tyrell]: Head crushed by Rutger Hauer in Joe's office. The Dark Side of the Moon (1990) [Paxton Warner]: I believe he was killed in this movie, but it's been so long since I've seen it that I can't recall for certain. |
