The Passenger (Professione: reporter) (1975) [David Locke]: Dies of unexplained causes; his body is shown lying in his hotel room afterwards. (Thanks to Fred)

The Shining (1980) [John 'Jack' Daniel Torrance]: Freezes to death (off-screen) after being trapped in the hedge maze outside the hotel; his body is shown sitting in the snow afterwards.

Batman (1989) [Jack Napier/The Joker]: Falls to his death after losing his grip on the rope ladder of a helicopter. His body is shown lying in the street below afterwards.

Hoffa (1992) [Jimmy Hoffa]: Shot to death by Frank Whaley, in a speculative depiction of what might have happened to Hoffa. (Thanks to Fred)

Mars Attacks! (1996) [President James Dale/Art Land]: Two death scenes in a dual role: As the President, he gets stabbed in the chest when he attempts to shake the Martian leader's hand, which detaches and transforms into a snakelike metallic "flag" that plants itself in his chest. As "Art Land," he is crushed to death by a giant globe during the Martians' attack on Las Vegas. (Thanks to Ernesto)
