The Devil Rides Out (The Devil's Bride) (1968) [Mocata]: Killed when Satan claims him, after the cult's intended sacrifice (Rosalyn Landor) is rescued. The File of the Golden Goose (1969) [Nick 'The Owl' Harrison]: Stabbed in the back when Graham Crowden throws a knife at him as Charles tries to run away. Diamonds Are Forever (1971) [Ernst Stavro Blofeld]: Playing both the real "Blofeld" and his double, the double is shot to death by Sean Connery. (The real "Blofeld" survives the movie.) The Beast Must Die (Black Werewolf) (1974) [Arthur Bennington]: Mauled to death (off-screen) by the werewolf Michael Gambon in Charles' bedroom; his body is shown afterwards when Calvin Lockhart discovers him. The Legacy (1978) [Karl Liebnecht]: Burned to death when a supernatural force causes the fireplace to flare up into the room. |
