My Favorite Spy (1951) [Peanuts White/Eric Augustine]: Playing a dual role, "Augustine" is killed (off-screen, exact method unclear) by Marc Lawrence and another henchman in "Peanuts"'s hotel room; his body is shown afterwards when "Peanuts" discovers him hanging from a coathook, and again when Hedy Lamarr discovers him. ("Peanuts" survives the movie.)
Joys (1976) [Bob Hope]: Killed by Johnny Carson. (I haven't seen this, but I've read that Bob and all of his guest stars were killed one by one by a mysterious figure who was ultimately revealed as Johnny.) (Played for comic effect.) |
