His "body" (still in parrot form) is shown after being cooked and served for dinner. Theatre of Blood (Much Ado About Murder) (1973) [Horace Sprout]: Decapitated (off-screen) by Vincent Price while Arthur and his wife (Joan Hickson) are lying drugged in bed; his body is shown afterwards when Joan wakes up and Arthur's head falls off. The Strange Case of the End of Civilization as We Know It (1977) [Dr. William Watson]: Hits his head on the ceiling after using his bionic strength to spring into action (in slow-motion). (Played for comic effect.) Britannia Hospital (1982) [Guest Patient]: Dies of a heart attack in his hospital bed after delivering a speech to the visiting review committee. |
