Alan Howard in 'The Cook, the Thief, His Wife and Her Lover'
Alan Howard (1937 - )
Nephew of
Leslie Howard
The Tragedy of Coriolanus (Coriolanus) (1984) [Caius Martius Coriolanus]: Presumably stabbed to death by assassins. (I haven't seen this version, but I know the basic plotline of Shakespeare's play.)

The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover (1989) [Michael]: Beaten and tortured (mostly off-screen before the scene begins), then choked to death when Michael Gambon stuffs the pages of a book into his mouth. His body is shown again afterwards when Helen Mirren discovers him; Helen then has Richard Bohringer cook Alan's corpse before she forces Michael at gunpoint to eat the body.
